Click on one of the following problems to see the tricks :

01. The Polaris does not clean the whole pool.
1. If the hose-weight adjustment valve (located on quick disconnect) does not release the excess water, clean the pool filter.
2. Make sure that the metal pre-fi lter located in the quick disconnect is present and clean.
3. Check that fl ow limiters have been fi tted to all the other outlet points.
4. Check that the length of the fl oating hose is roughly 1.20 m less than the distance between the connection point and the point furthest away.
5. Make sure that the surface module moves forwards and backwards.
6. Make sure that the quick disconnect hose-weight adjustment nut is fully screwed in.
02. The surface module sinks under the water or leans to one side.
1. Take the surface module out of the pool. Shake it to make sure there is no water inside the grey fl oat. If there is, unscrew the stopper located under the cover and empty out the water. If the problem persists, replace the grey fl oat of the appliance (Part No. 6-302-00).
2. Unscrew the hose-weight adjustment valve located on the quick disconnect until the surface module fl oats evenly.
3. Undo the feed hose connection sleeve screwed to the surface module by 1/2 to 1 turn (the surface module should pivot freely on the connector).
04. The floating hose remains rolled up and the appliance can’t free itself.
1. Make sure that the surface module moves forwards and backwards.
2. Take the fl oating hose out of the pool to undo any knots. When installing pull strongly on the hose to erase its shape memory.
3. Make sure the hoses have been cut correctly.
4. Review the points of problem 01.
04. The surface module moves around too quickly.
1. If the quick disconnect hose-weight adjustment valve releases too much water, remove one of the stoppers placed in the outlets. If the Polaris moves too slowly after doing this, fi t a new outlet stopper and go to the next point.
2. Unscrew the quick disconnect hose-weight adjustment valve until the surface module slows down. The bag should stay on the fl oor 80% of the time the appliance is operating.
05. The bag does not stay on the bottom of the pool
1. Unscrew the hose-weight adjustment valve until the surface module slows down (review problem 04).
2. Make sure there are no air bubbles around the body of the unit (grey part) or around the nozzles under the appliance. If there are, there may be air in the hoses. Check the fi ltration unit (air often enters when the valves tighten).
