These cleaners are totally separate from the pool’s filtration system and work on electrically on low voltage (12 or 24 V). They are, fully independent robots.

Their tracks carry them to every area of the pool in accordance with a predefined programme. Depending on the model, the different programmes enable the robots to change direction and adapt their travel to the configuration of the pool to be cleaned. Fitted with foam pads or bristle brushes (depending on the finish of the pool), they can go up the sides of the pool and even climb the steps, according to how they are programmed.

Some models also include a remote control integrated or not into the robot’s carrying trolley. enabling the user to operate the robot in manual mode to clean a particular area.

These robots pick up litter into their own filtering equipment (filter, filter bag, etc.), which needs to be emptied and cleaned regularly.

These are fast, efficient cleaners, although they require a bigger investment than the two preceding categories as well as the appropriate after-sales service.
